Submit a Document Authentication Request

Important information 

Certificate of authentication is only for use outside of Canada.

Official Documents Services reserves the right not to authenticate your documents if they are considered fraudulent or suspicious.

  • After you submit your authentication request online, you will receive an email confirmation with a service request number. 
  • Calculate the total service cost for all eligible documents submitted in the request.
  • To complete your request, please mail or bring your document(s) in-person for authentication and payment to Official Documents Services. Official Documents Services will only process your request once complete package (service request number, document(s) and payment) is received. 
  • If the document is in any language other than English or French, it must be accompanied by a translation issued by a Certified Canadian Translator.
